Direct Pool Related Experience:
1984 – 1988: Alden Enterprises, Inc · Assisted owners/clients in running commercial pools including routine pool services for condominium and swim clubs.· Set up operational and maintenance programs.· Provided operator training for water chemistry,· Provided repair, replacement, programmed and preventative maintenance for all types of pool equipment.· Provided renovation and repair of decks, pool surfaces, gunite pools, tile and structural fittings.· Provided leak detection and pipe repair services.1988 – 1990: Alden Enterprises, Inc.
· Independent salesman in North and South Carolina for dehumidification systems provided through Dectron. Provided startup services for these dehumidification systems. Assisted Mechanical Engineers with design work for dehumidification systems.· Surveyed and quoted commercial pool renovation and repair work in the Piedmont area of the Carolinas, mostly in Mecklenburg County as an independent salesman for a pool builder.· Designed and sold small commercial and residential concrete pools.
1990-1998: Alden Enterprises, Inc.
· Pool equipment representative for filters, pool water treatment systems, deck equipment, stainless steel pools, handicap and therapy pool access equipment, commercial pool liners for renovations, direct commercial sales of pool equipment. Responsibilities included start up, training and trouble shooting· Performed design work as part of the equipment sales effort.
1998 to present: Pool Design Consultants. Inc.
· Provide complete design and construction administrative services to the institutional, commercial and medical aquatic market· Services apply to all stages of a project including programming, schematic, design development, construction documents, bid, construction administration and post construction services.
In summary for this introduction of my experience: Twenty-five years of experience in various aspects of client communication, Sixteen years of experience in all aspects of institutional and commercial pools, Ten years of experience in various aspects of aquatic physical therapy, Ten years of experience working with top aquatic equipment manufacturers, Ten years of experience in the design of institutional, commercial and physical therapy Four plus years of experience in the design of aquatic play areas. |
